In sintesi
L'esigenza
Charge point operators run mixed fleets: older stations on OCPP 1.6 and new ones on 2.0.1, each with its own dialect. On top of that, drivers want to plug in and leave, without an app or an RFID card.
The approach
A backend holding persistent WebSocket sessions with the stations, two controllers for the two protocol versions, and a certificate service for Plug & Charge via Hubject. On the front-end a React console with live map, session statistics, Stripe payments and a dedicated flow for hotel guest charging.
L'esito
One platform for both protocol generations, charging authorised by the vehicle's own certificate, and remote commands and logs kept per station. Interface available in four languages.
