L'esigenza
The online shop, the shop floor and the accounts each held their own version of the truth. Stock, prices and orders were realigned by hand, and every promotion meant touching several systems at once — with the mistakes that follow.
The approach
Three pieces designed as one system: a new PrestaShop store with a custom layout, native iOS and Android apps, and an ERP that runs the company end to end. Catalogue, stock, prices and orders live in the ERP and stay in sync with shop and apps, so a change is made once and shows up everywhere.
L'esito
Project in progress: e-commerce, apps and ERP are being built together rather than bolted on afterwards, so warehouse, sales and accounts read the same data.
